Here's my final Sacky animation. It's about 48 seconds long and a tad incomplete. You'll notice the rope wrapped around him he's struggling to walk with suddenly disappears for a moment. This is because I didn't have the time to animate it properly before it was due. It also looks like he's floating in front of the trunk during that time. This was because it took me so long to animate that section like hell I was going to cover it up. But after that the animation resumes normally.
The rope was supposed to come back into play later. After Sacky throws the skull he's supposed to stand back up and go back to the trunk, hopping back in and pulling out a flute and sorcerer's hat with a feather in it. He then plays it, the rope coming to life and dancing to the rhythm of the tune, Sacky looking up at it's now snake-like movements and dancing along, until the rope shoot straight into the air and stops movement. Curious at this, Sacky stares at it a moment before abandoning the flute and tugging twice on the rope to try and pull it back down.
The rope then wraps around Sacky's ankle and hoists him in the air, Sacky hanging from the veiling swaying gently side to side. The animation ends, then returns to Sacky hanging after a few seconds. It reveals he's trying to reach his toes to try and free himself. Unable to reach, he gives up and resumes hanging. The animation ends.
Even if I had had enough time to complete all that, there's no way it would have been able to fit within the time constraints of 1:15.
Fortunately I completed enough to pass the class [finally] and will never have to animate Sacky again. No I will not return to this in the future to finish everything I had planned for it.
It's impossible to tell exactly how much I spent on this, but it was hours and hours and hours worth of work. I stayed up until 6am the night before it was due.

Thank you! No I don't intend to finish this particular animation, but instead work on other animations and complete them, be they personal projects or for school.
We have chosen your work for our Featured Folder for November!
