~CHARACTER~

Character's Full Name: Olivia
Reason or Meaning of Name: She was given this name because an ancient scholar in her world was rumored [with some evidence] to have loved a woman named Olivia, which was discovered near the time of her birth.
Nickname: Her two best friends and Viorel on occasion, call her "Princess." Only when they say it does the term sound endearing.
Reason for Nickname: She was a princess in her youth. She isn't when she meets her two friends, but they happily call her by that name despite Olivia's wishes.
Birth Date: October 10th

~PHYSICAL APPEARANCE~

Age: 23
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 125
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Body Type/Build: Slim with womanly curves where appropriate.
Skin Tone: Paler
Shape of Face: Oval
Ears: Small and round; average human ears.
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Chestnut brown.
Hairstyle: Long, parted at the center, no bangs. Sometimes a loose ponytail.
Distinguishing Marks: None to speak of.
Predominant Feature: Her long hair.
Detailed Physical Description: Olivia is a short, slim girl. She is rather pretty, but doesn't stand out much in a crowd. She seems to prefer it that way. She has a good disposition and a kind smile. She has long brown hair that extends below her waist, which she'll where in a ponytail on occasion, but not often. She has blue eyes and the pretty curves of a woman, but she's not too curvaceous. Unfortunately, her main outfit is currently under construction.

~BACKGROUND~

Hometown: Her kingdom [name under construction].
Most striking or affecting memory or event (be it positive or negative) that helped turn them into the person they are today: Fleeing to the woods the day her kingdom is conquered. She eventually finds an old woman who agrees to take her in, provided she learns the meaning of hard work and a life free of royal privileges.
Childhood Friends: Her betrothed, Zachary Neko, and his younger sisters Aiden and Alora [there is a third sister, but Olivia never meets the child].
Childhood Enemies: Enemies of her kingdom, none too threatening or relevant.
Favorite Childhood Possession: Perhaps a few dolls of hers. She was rather busy with being taught etiquette and all that to have anything material she truly adored.
Education/Special Training: Olivia was taught by scholars arithmetic, reading, writing, and other important subjects, while her grandmother taught her the ways of her culture and the beginnings of how to run a kingdom properly. The woman taught her that a lady must always keep her hair long, to always marry above your social class [or in their case a more powerful kingdom], the ends justify the means, people can be a useful tool to get what you want, etc. While most of her grandmother's teachings were jaded, Olivia was too naïve to know this. And so the girl took all these things to heart, and kept many of these teachings throughout her life.
Childhood: Olivia's childhood wasn't so simple, but it was not a bad life. She had the luxuries that being a royal brought and two parents and a grandmother who loved her. She was betrothed from birth and brought up to be a respectable, intelligent lady. While scholars taught her books and about the world, her grandmother taught her about running a kingdom, etiquette, and the importance of power. Olivia got along well enough with her betrothed and it delighted her grandmother. However when she was ten her kingdom was conquered and, by the instructions of her grandmother, she fled from there with no plans of returning. After three days of being very hysterical and wandering, an old woman found her and took her home. After an initial struggle and difficulty, Olivia learned the ways of life outside of royalty and eventually became accustomed to it and nearly content. It wasn't until she was sixteen when she met her two best friends; two trouble makers by the names of Gericke and Flint.

~PERSONALITY~

Favorites/Likes: Her friends, laughing, finishing work/chores [doing them in the first place is another story], delicious food, reading.
Most Hated/Dislikes: Generally unpleasant people, cleaning, tardiness, too much goofing around, being picked on.
Fears: Something will happen to her and/or her friends.
They're most at ease when: There's no work to be done and there are plenty of means to relax and indulge around her [good food, good reading, good people to talk to, etc.].
Most ill at ease when: Something disastrous occurs or there's an overwhelming amount of work to be done.
Best Characteristic (whether they see it as such or not): Her loyalty.
Worst Characteristic (whether they see it as such or not): Her gullibility.
Strengths: Kind, fair, very sharp, well breed, quiet, hard worker, [usually] good sense of humor.
Weaknesses: Gullible, strictly sticks to most of what her grandmother taught her if not everything [not always bad, but for certain situations it is, like still being obsessed with marrying into the Neko kingdom; cue Viorel Neko].
Hobbies/Interests: Reading, chatting with friends, relaxing, keeping Gericke and Flint out of trouble as best she can.
Regrets: Not returning to where she once lived while she had the chance.
Religious Beliefs: She believes in Gods and Goddesses, but she does not strictly worship them much. She, like a good many people in her kingdom, speaks more about an ancient scholar who was supposedly remarkable and unbelievably brilliant.
Fetishes/Strange Behaviors: None to speak of. She can have a temper and becomes a bolder woman as she grows up. I suppose her focus on Viorel above most people [when they first meet at least] could be unusual.
Philosophy on Life: "Tradition and upholding your family name are what you should strive for."
Attitude Towards Death: "Death is but a small veil that keeps the living and their ancestors apart."
Description of their personality: Olivia is a kind, and initially quiet person, who strives to make her grandmother proud even after the woman's death. It is her absolute life mission, but as time goes on and reality differs from theory, she begins to have her own mind and opinions, with an outlook on life that clashes with her grandmother's. Olivia has a personal battle with this as she is such a loyal creature to her grandmother and what she was taught, but eventually her loyalty to her friends helps her recognize what is right for her. Still, she has a sharp enough to get what she wants.

~SELF-PERCEPTION~

One word they would use to describe themself: "Traditional."
One paragraph description of how they would describe themself: "I remain true to what I was taught as a girl. I do what I need in order to accomplish what my grandmother wanted for me, at any cost. And upon re-meeting the Neko family after all these years [long story], I do believe I have the upper hand." [It depends on what part of the story you talk about, but this is basically the gist.]
What do they consider their best physical characteristic? Her lips.
What do they consider their worst physical characteristic? "My knobby knees."
Are these realistic assessments? If not, why not? Yes.
How they think others perceive them: "Smart and kind, and that's all I need them to think. And I'm grateful when they do."
What four things would they most like to change about themself (#1 being most important, and #4 being less important to them)? Why?
1. "My current social status. Viorel doesn't seem to mind much, which is fortunately uncharacteristic of his people, but it would only aid me if I was currently powerful in status."
2. "I wish I was a better fighter. Or at least stronger. Jennifer would have more use for me then, and I owe her that much."
3. "I wish I had a better instructor than Jennifer. It would just be easier." [Whatever she's talking about revolves around the Neko kingdom.]
4. "Maybe being able to drink alcohol in great excess without getting drunk would be useful."
If change #1 was made, would they be as happy as they think they would? If not, why not? That depends on if Gericke and Flint would still be in the picture.

~TRAITS~

Drives and Motivations: Family tradition, her friends.
Skilled At: Doing her family name justice, debate, intellectual things [reading, arithmetic, etc.], working, carrying her own weight, taking care of people.
Unskilled At: Fighting, being able to see past peoples' lies [usually], and knowing the difference between wants and needs.
Other Talents: Her sharp mind can figure out a good means of getting what she wants; she just has to choose whether or not she feels she needs it.
Good Characteristics: Kind, trusting, loyal, able to adapt, usually knows the right thing to say.
Character Flaws: Too trusting, can be temperamental, can have difficulty knowing between right and wrong [her own wants vs. what's actually right is the usual issue].
Accomplishments: Being a royal, surviving, making good friends.
Optimist or Pessimist: Something of an optimist.
Do they play a musical instrument? Which? How did they learn? She once knew how to play the harp, thanks to the scholars from her childhood, but has since forgotten due to lack of practice [and lack of a harp].
Do they smoke? No.
Do they drink? On occasion.
Darkest Secret: "My father was initially betrothed to a princess of the Neko kingdom, but my mother seduced him and from that affair I was created."
Does anyone else know their secret? If yes, how did that person find out? Yes, she told Jennifer, Gericke, and Flint because they are trustworthy friends. And also those who know their history very well [such as the Neko kingdom] will know this. Fortunately though, the Nekos have a bigger secret Olivia knows.

~GOALS~

Immediate Goals: Help Jennifer, keep Gericke and Flint safe.
Long Term Goals: Marry into the Neko kingdom.
How do they plan to accomplish these goals? Olivia works everyday to help Jennifer [as do Jennifer's two "brothers", Gericke, and Flint] with whatever needs to get done, and at the same time tries to keep Gericke and Flint from getting into trouble [this includes breaking things on accident, messing with people who actually turn out to be authority figures, ogling women, etc. Flint is the ring leader for all the mischief]. To marry into the Neko kingdom she plans to get friendly with Viorel, the prince.

~PROBLEMS/CRISES~

How do they react in a crisis? Depends on the crisis. If it's not too bad or the usual kind of trouble, she can usually think of a quick way out of it or how to fix it. If it's something truly terrible, her mind shuts down and she's unable to do much beyond take directions.
How do they face problems? Not so much head on as she tries to snake or talk around it.
Kinds of problems they usually run into: Getting into trouble with Gericke and Flint, getting those two out of trouble, and on rare occasions get caught up in something Jennifer or her brothers did.
How they react to NEW problems: Not very well at first.
How they react to change: She doesn't enjoy it, but assuming it won't kill her she can adapt to it.

~FAMILY~

Mother: Scarlet Lumoni
Relationship with her: No longer exists as her mother is deceased, but when she was a child she had mixed feelings because her grandmother had so many strong words against her. She loved her, but had less respect for her.
Father: Porter
Relationship with him: No longer exists as he is deceased, but Olivia loved him very much.
Siblings: None
Birth Order: Olivia is the first and only born from her parents.
Relationship with each: N/A
Children of Siblings: N/A
Friends: Gericke and Flint, Jennifer, Jennifer's two "brothers", and Viorel [for now].
Enemies: Currently that would be any enemy of the Neko kingdom, or of her friends.
Extended Family: Grandmother, who is assumed deceased [Olivia saw her be struck down when her kingdom was conquered].

~RELATION WITH OTHERS~

Are they divorced? Married? Engaged? She is somewhat in a relationship, but she is not engaged or married.
Have they ever cheated on a significant other? No.
How do they relate to others? Depends on who she is trying to relate to. She relates with Jennifer on womanly levels, mostly, and she hardly relates to Gericke and Flint beyond liking a good laugh [she loves them because they're so different from her], she really doesn't relate to Jennifer's brothers at all, and she can relate to Viorel very well [because of their backgrounds with royalty; initially it is unbelievably beneficial to her, and a relief she can talk to someone who understands such strictness and laugh about those things].
How are they perceived by...
-Strangers? Quiet, possibly cute to some.
-Friends? They just love her. She can usually take a joke and is a hard worker and she can keep good conversation with them.
-Wife/Husband/Lover? "I certainly enjoy her company, and she looks good on my arm. But it's that mind of hers. She doesn't strictly abide to everything she was taught; her years out of a kingdom has made her a bit uncouth. I'll have to change that."
What do family/friends like most about them? Her lighthearted attitude when she works or sits around and shoots the breeze.
What do family/friends like least about them? Her overly serious nature on certain matters in life; social hierarchy, tradition, romantic relationships, etc.

~PRESENT DAY~

Occupation: Works for Jennifer.
Place of Work: Generally around Jennifer's house or at various other locations; it depends on what needs to be done.
Work-related Skills: Cleaning, packing, transporting.
Past Occupations: None.
Finances: Not awful; nothing in comparison to the past.
Memberships: Working for Jennifer she is affiliated with organized crime, but that is both hush hush and doesn't truly count as she isn't officially a member of anything.
Friends: Gericke and Flint, Jennifer, Jennifer's two brothers, Viorel.
Enemies: Enemies of the Neko kingdom, enemies of her friends.
Pets: None.
Priorities: Take care of her friends, get close to Viorel.
Place/Type of Residence: A modest home with three bedrooms, one bathroom, a small kitchen, and a nice, large living area.
Where do they want to live? A luxurious castle.
Weapon and/or Fighting Style: None really. She can only do what comes naturally, and whatever that is is a poor excuse for fighting.
Mode of Transportation: On foot usually.
Favorite Expletives: "Shit!"
Most prized possession: None. Her friends are better than material goods anyway, but that's not to say she didn't wish she had more material goods!
Why? She doesn't have any possessions of any value.
What single event would most throw their life into complete turmoil? Why? At her current state in life either the death of her friends or Viorel being betrothed to someone. She would be crushed and thrown into an extreme depression if her friends died, and since she and Viorel aren't officially engaged or anything close to that he could technically be betrothed to another girl at any time. And that would ruin her big plans.
Normal Routine: Get up, wake the boys, eat and possibly help make breakfast. Get her list of things to do from Jennifer [spoken, not physical list], and proceed to carry out the orders. These usually include sweeping the house and loading up the car for Jennifer's brothers to deliver or take care of something in another part of town. If she's able she'll walk around the better part of town so she isn't cooped up in the house all day; often times she is with Gericke and Flint having a good time. Scold Flint for not doing what he's supposed to and continue working until the sun starts to go down. She'll either start or help prepare dinner by then. While eating and after dinner, Olivia and her friends will talk about various things and laugh about until it is time for bed. The two girls sleep in one bedroom, Jennifer's two brothers sleep in another, and Gericke and Flint sleep in the remaining bedroom. But Olivia's schedule changes often, and sometimes even during the middle of her usual routine it can change. Sometimes Jennifer will need her to stop what she's doing and help or go do something else [which once led to re-meeting the Nekos], she could have plans with Viorel, or he could randomly show up unannounced. Gericke and Flint could also drag her to go do something fun and try to ditch working from time to time, which Olivia usually acquiesces.
I've been meaning to make a character sheet for Olivia and I finally have. I don't really have much to say beyond Olivia's story isn't finished so some things are missing from the character sheet and some things will most likely change over time.
