Bourgeois Zoiyendetra

Here's the protagonist of the story, Zoiyendetra. I love this girl. This image does not give her attitude any credit though. She looks far too sweet. I surprisingly don't have much to say about her right now.

I suppose I should explain her name. It's pronounced Zoi-yen-deh-truh, and I came up with it/stumbled upon it one day years ago when I accidentally misspelled the name Zoey. Story wise it's a name that's given to the first born female in Zoiyendetra's family on her mother's side.

Here's the low down on her dress/skirt:

Zoiyendetra is something of a fashion victim. She's dirt poor, but dressing this way she feels like she fits in more, even though she doesn't.

She accomplishes this outfit by wearing a skirt underneath her main dress. The main dress is way too long/big, but being unable to afford another one she [very poorly] attempts a corseted look/feel by wrapping a yellow belt twice around her rib cage/middle. She then puts a second belt on, this time around the highest point of her thighs [in other words just below where a normal belt goes]. After the belt is tight enough to stay up but loose enough to allow her to move, Zoiyendetra pulls up her main dress and drapes the excess over the belt to almost make it look like she's wearing a bustle. Again this fools nobody into thinking she's richer than she actually is, but it makes her feel like she is. This also keeps her from tripping over her main dress like she used to when she was younger.

The second skirt keeps her ankles from showing and being unladylike.
